Do your first ones with the lower shrouds removed, so you can watch what’s happening.
1. Make sure motor sits reasonably level
2. Open fuel valve and tank vent. Watch float pin rise.
3. Now turn knob to “Prime”, which holds float pin down. Book sez 10 seconds. But I hold it till it drips.
4. Turn knob to right, far enough to release float pin.
5. Start motor.
6. Run full throttle and adjust knob for smoothest running.
7. Slow down to idle. Slow speed mixture adjustment is the screw on side. Adjust for best idle.
8. Remove knob & reinstall pointing straight up. Likewise, loosen primer lever and point up & tighten.
9. That’s it. With practice, it is a one-pull motor.
