Guys, I know this isn’t exactly an antique outboard question I’m going to ask anyway, but it does relate to a classic boat and outdrive ! I have a 1976 Sea Ray that I installed a very unique engine and drive into 44 years ago ! The engine is a 425cid Olds and the drive is a Stern Power drive unit also the same as the Chrysler Drive 90 ! It has had many revisions (upgrades) thru it’s life ! This year while winterizing it one of the things I do is to pull back the bellows to grease the U-joints ! When I did this, this year I found I have cracks in the bellows and water inside them ! Upon looking on line for a new bellows I found they are no longer available according to the marine dealer I used to get parts from ! They said they went out of manufacture 10 years ago ! So I am reaching out to any and all to ask if anyone knows where I might be able to find another bellows ?

The Stern Power part no. for the bellows is D-11s and would be the same for the Chrysler Drive 90 Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated !

      Thanks

      Gary

I am NOT suggesting that you put money down up front for it; but if you can find somebody that has a bellows for an old Volvo Aquamatic 250, it looks similar. Worth comparing.

        Long live American manufacturing!

Billw, Thanks for that suggestion, I will definitely do exactly that, and will also look at some of the MercCrusier and OMC bellows !

Once I get the drive off the boat and can pull the old bellows I just may get lucky ?

          Thanks

          Gary
