Temperature gauge for PO15?

I’m close to putting my PO on the boat and taking a little run up the river.Since I have it set up for remote steering,is there a good cheap way to check the cooling other than the "hands on method".I’m hoping to find something I can attach to the cylinders and get a remote reading.
