All, I apologize for not following up on this post….I cleaned up the points where i was testing the coil and got a perfect resistance. I rebuilt the carb and the motor fired right up. I purchased new rings and gaskets and will be rebuilding the motor with my son over the next month. i just posted a question about a rubber gasket behind the propeller….hope to get some more feedback on that topic as well. thank you!
