A loose indicator band is an easy fix. Remove the tiller grip and slide the band off the end of the tiller. Then just roll it up on itself and squeeze in your hand to make a tighter radius. When reinstalling, open the band the bare minimum to slide over the tiller and into place. A little grease helps.
