Getting ready to rebuild the Tillotson MS90A carb on my 1937 Champion and needed some help on the correct float level adjustment. I have a Tillotson MS90A instruction sheet that says “with float bowl cover turned upside down and float lever resting on inlet needle, bend lever if necessary, to give a distance of 15/32″ from flat outer rim of float bowl cover (without gasket) to the lower edge of float”. Enclosed is a pic of the float as I found it when I pulled the float bowl cover and I marked up the picture to show what I think the instructions say. Am I interpreting the instructions correctly? The actual measurement as I found it is about 5/16″. A measurement of 15/32″ would place the float body level or parallel with the bowl cover.

That is correct according to my info and interpretation of the instructions.
