I am going to put a couple motors on my local CL for users to buy. I have worked through them mechanically and cleaned them up, but not a restoration. I just wanted to make them functional, not museum pieces.

I know that this can vary from region to region, but what do you think is a good asking price for them? I don’t need to wring every last cent out of them, but I also don’t want to give them away. Outside of buying them, all I have in them is plugs and one coil.

I was thinking they would make a good duck boat or sailboat kicker.

      I appreciate your thoughts

Last one I had, I sold for $85 for a sailboat kicker. A few days later, the guy brought it back with a yanked out recoil rope. Win some, lose some.

I have three I couldn’t hardly give away. One runner with new coils, points and condensers, impeller and whatnot and 2 parts motors all for $150…no bites
(Southern Ont). None look really great though

Yeah, as Scott said above, worth almost negative in our area, there are so many. Very often left at meets in free piles. I ended up giving a shed of them away to the boy scouts to practise on.

I might pull the new ignition parts and do the same.
