Hey guys, I wanted to show you the result of my ’53 TN-28. Changing the impeller was easy enough, but when I went to upgrade to the new powerhead seal, I didn’t know what to expect. After I got the new parts, I took it apart, and although I thought I had the collar on the driveshaft already installed, it didn’t measure to the proper dimensions according to the manual. It was like 1" off. So, I elected to install it back to the original setup. I was able to to get the original seal etc…. from Dan Gano. It runs awesome now, and also stays running cool with the new impeller.

      Here’s the video I made today. http://youtu.be/iPvKrahvyq0

I’m making a video of all my motors this Summer. If you go to my channel,(Blue Lake) you’ll see 8 out of 10 of the motors I have. I will do another this coming week, a ’55 Lightwin, and then I need to get my 1940 HA-15 running. It runs, but it overheats in short order. The cooling system needs a going through. I’ll be asking a few questions when I get started on that one for sure. 😉
