      It’s from a 1956 Javeline. I was able to remove them with a little force.

        Has anyone tried the candle wax method?
        Apparently if you heat the area hot enough for the candle wax to melt when touched to the screw it will travel in and free things up. Read it somewhere. Never tried it.

          Good that you were able to get it out.

          But just a word of caution about using heat on an aluminum to aluminum joint like the  OMC clamp screws…. heating will tend to encourage galling… think micro welding.

          The thread file is the way to go.
