Evinrude All Electric, rare for sure! ( and heavy! )
Might be the only one in Harrow, Ontario.
I know of one in Taunton, Ma.
Have had mine on the boat several times.
As the story goes some were sold to theme park
For water rides. Would be really nice to find one of
The crafts that it was used on.Surely not going to break any speed records.
I know of two others, would be interesting to know how
Many are still around.Does yours run Chris?
Is yours single speed or two speed?Cool stuff!

May 13, 2018 at 4:57 pm #75917I bet that would suck the juice out of a battery faster
than you could say….. "your turn to row Delrod".Great conversation piece though!
Prepare to be boarded!
May 13, 2018 at 7:56 pm #75921model 607 is actually a Super C electric. I had the powerhead torn down to flush it out and inspect it, so I plunked the starter down on the tower for a joke.
Here’s the real motor all together in her barn-fresh state. Have been working on it at different times throughout the past week. It was coated with wood chips/sawdust when I got it. Sawdust had gotten into the carb throat but hadn’t yet penetrated into the crankcase. Powerhead is all flushed out and cleaned to be safe. Replaced wrist pin keepers while I was at it. All that’s left to do before a trial start attempt is clean the gas tank.
I do have one of the All-Electrics, its a model 481,
and I’ve had it on a boat

The times I used mine it didn’t seem that bad.
However I used a deep cycle battery.
I didn’t run it til I draining the battery, probably about 45 mins.

Cute. So yours looks to be a single speed. Do you know of any others?

May 13, 2018 at 10:44 pm #75929There’s a picture of one in the antique outboarder from a couple years back. A member from the Puget Sounders club brought it to a meet. That’s another motor I would like to see.
