Vintage Canoe Brackets

Here is a picture of the accessory canoe bracket for A35 and A45.It looks like the same bracket as the one for the A and A25 motors except for the bottom of the casting where it supports the down tube.You just might find that the one you have will fit your motor.You’ll just have to take the transom clamp off of yours to try it.

Thanks for the responses and the parts diagram. Is the AC 35 bracket the same as the accessory bracket?

Poking around in the barn, I found a J-65 that fits perfectly on the canoe bracket.

Found another canoe bracket.  Different setup with a smaller diameter post and a bigger cup for catching the leg.  I think the wood block is a prior owner modification.

The post has a keyway.  I wonder how that worked?
