      Very interesting and helpful link, it might be my only option.

      Video: Coils appear to be typical 584477, is there a reference on showing how to remove the coils from the laminations. I’ve dissected a bad coil before and it didn’t go so well lol. I’m thinking new coils would be much easier to separate.

      I’ve reached out to  Blake about availability of the armature plate ass’y from his parts motor.

      Time & Patience sometimes prevails!

        Before doing a generic coil replacement you should be able to find a good original coil. Although these motors are old the they aren’t rare. Placing an ad in the webvertize should get you a replacement. You can also try Doug Penns website in the links section.I will take a look to see if I can find my stash of spare ignition coils.
