          instead of rebuilding the pump put a primer bulb in the line.

            Thanks will give him a call – can you tell me if you know the name of this tank style so I can do better searches?
            The OMC tanks like dual line for example make searching easy – but I come up with blanks on mercury vintage tank

              mercury converted there pressure tanks till they were used up and the new tanks came out.
