          If they are about 2 inches high, I’ve seen similar parts under the rear of 1960s big cars on the frame behind the rear wheels for the rear axel to hit if you go over a big enough dip in the road to bottom out the suspension.

            No clue- but if I had to guess, possible transom bracket bumpers so when motor drops it does not hit metal to metal?

              Yes, Dave, they are 2 inches high, 1 1/2 inch wide.  I wonder if any boat trailers had suspension bumpers like the cars you mentioned?
