      From a Craig’s List ad……. I don’t recognize this pair of outboards.

I’m not sure about that pair of motors but I think I recognize the kid with the Sportfour. 😉

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

We might need a confirmation from Garry but I think the motor in the pic is a Sportwin. I’m not sure about the little guy on the tiller but I think he was here last year on a bottle drive for his hockey team. 😀

                  .
Try to find one with the original, aluminium sparkplug cover.
                  ( think that 9 out of 10 are missing ) 😕
that makes it a more valuable motor

Nice running motors when dialed in. Carb can be a bit cranky, For 1939 they added the fuel balance tube on the bottom of the tank (as shown in Mumbles post)
360 degree steering. Model made for two years only. If you pick one up without the infamous spark plug cover, Doug Penn sells a reproduction cover .

true, but it is made of fiberglass material, if you like that or don’t, its your choice
anyway, it is a way to make it complete 😉
