      I think this came off of a Navy ship or boat. It looks like some kind of switch that rotates from 6 to 32. If you look carefully there seems to be some kind of light or lamp. When I put the Ohm meter on the wire posts I get continuity and it does vary slightly while rotating. The box is totally sealed.
