I bought a few items from a Marina that had an online auction. A motor rack was one of the items. On the rack was this tool. Looks like a jack plate sort of?

Says "Bob Kerr Marine Tool, Winter Garden Florida, 750, For Display Only"

For displaying motors at a dealership, I have had one for years and asked about it last year. I believe I was told for the motors that did not have clamps to fasten them on. They could drop into this and then clamp them on for display with this.

I have no idea what it is – – – way before my time.
but – Bob Kerr was one of my fathers best friends !!!
my mother was born in Winter Garden in 1927 and never left.
so that is my Homestead, you might say.
