      Need help identifying this Motor.

      Friend picked up 3 motors for the taking, two of which I could identify. Pictures are not that good but someone more familiar with the model will probably easily identify.

      The others are  Neptune’s model a 10A6  6hp & a WC1

        Looks like one of the air-cooled Elgins manufactured by West Bend.

          I think it’s a late 1940s model of Neptune. They made a 10 hp in line twin (alternate firing)  and also a smaller one maybe around 6 hp and I think yours is the smaller one.

            Ya’ I vote for Neptune as well. Defiantly water cooled, the water tube is evident. Look for a number stamped somewhere,  there will be one.

              Edit— Went looking through my picture files and it looks like you may have a 9.5 hp Model #15AA3 on a 11A9 bottom. 

              A "Boat House Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
