      5 OBC CERTIFIED BHE@ 4000 R.P.M.
      SERIAL NO,
      551. 639
      MODEL NO. 571.505151
      SEARS, ROEBUCK AND CO. U.S.A.

        The model number you gave 571-5o5151 does not match any of ELGIN numbers
        can you show a picture of motor

          Steve,

          As Al noted, your posted model number seems incorrect.    The Sears Elgins should have just 5 digits after the 571. prefix.

            US Member - 2 Years

            Sears sold outboards with Elgin name from 1945/6 until thr late 1950s. 571 is Sears source code for West Bend. Hope this helps
