Easiest way? Probably by siphoning. Put the full tank on your tailgate and the empty one on the ground and it will transfer in no time!

Here’s a pressure tank cap I adapted a fitting to. It was meant for hooking up a pressure gauge but it could also work as a drain. I think it was the ’57 and later tanks which have one screw on top marked ‘drain’ and it serves the same purpose.

The easiest, if you can find one, is the OMC Super Spout. http://www.boatinfo.no/lib/evinrude/brochures/1978evinrudeacc.html#/26

If you have too many, AND not enough, you're a collector.

Is the Evinrude Super Spout threaded?

Just put a large funnel in the receiver tank and dump the fuel in. Lots faster than siphoning and you can get all the fuel out of the filled tank.

If you have a extra fuel line that you not using, remove the two ends and use it as a siphon.

Be it siphon or funnel, I like to pour the fuel through a coffee filter.

                      "Fox News" isn't.
