        Why don’t you just straighten it. Eyeball where the bend is then set up a couple of pieces of brass or aluminum to support it accordingly then hit it with a brass hammer or piece of brass or aluminum against thread with a regular steel hammer and you can straighten it by eye. If you are good it will work good. another option depending on bend is take it and clamp in vice between aluminum or brass or plywood according to bend then tap it straight with brass hammer.Do not hit it directly with steel or back it up with steel as you will damage thread and it will never work. A small file can be used if there is any thread damage. You may have to turn it different ways to straighten a compound bend.
