I have a 1965 Johnson 18hp (FD-19) and it has an electric starter. The wire harness from the starter to the solenoid has corroded, and the wire has become brittle and broken. I’m looking for a new wire harness or a replacement. I can’t seem to find a part number, and all the online manuals, and parts don’t have the electric starter. The wire harness has wires and is trapezoid shaped (3 holes on the bottom, and 2 on top). Any suggestions, or part number’s would be appreciated.

      Thanks

      The end of the harness

The only place I know to get a new harness is http://www.nymarine.ca/wiringharness.htm

But I couldn’t bring myself to pay their price, so built my own: https://aomci.org/forums/topic/1959-evinrude-18hp-electric-start/
