Hello. Can anybody enlighten me on the differences on Wizard 10hp powerheads, and Powermatic 12 powerheads? Are they all 18 cubic inches? I have several Wizard powerheads and i’m wanting to use one on a project. I just want to make a re creation of a WG7. Thanks for any info. Brian.

The Tech Info at Jason Baxters Wizard Outboard Site has basic information for Mewcury, Wizard and Sea King singles made by Kiekhaefer Corporation fro 1940 thru late 1950s plus a comparison
        chart of Mericury and Wizards
        Good Luck

Tech Info is worth a look if you have a MERCURY,WIZARD or Sea King
single made by Kiekhaefer Corporation from 1940 to late
1950s. Year, Model, Bore, Stroke, Displacement, point and plug gap,
fuel mix (pre TCW-3) weight, prop
pitch and diameter Horsepower and rated RPM… in short ANSWERS to
        ALL the USUAL Questions.
        In reference to current question
        Tech Info shows displacement ANd
the Bore and Stroke so variations
        between models can be understood
        better.
I believe this information is also posted on AOMCI site.

          WG7 is 18 cubic inches and WN7 is 19..  Nice running motors. I have a WG7 and a WN7 and a WM7A.

Models WF-7, WG-7, WH-7, WJ-7, and WK-7 (1950-54) were all 18.34 cubic inch powerheads.  All later (1955-57 were the 19.8 cubic inch powerheads.  Bob Grubb
