      I am working on a Sea King 5.0hp model GG8960A (Viking /Gale model 5D14).
I must replace one piston so I need to drive the wrist pin out. (I’ve done this before and have built a fixture for my press)
But….dang it, I’m getting old and cannot remember which way the pin must be pressed out.

When removing the pin – do I drive the pin away from from the "loose" "L" side side and out the unmarked side? This is the way I remember doing it.

Re-installing the pin from the "loose" "L" side to the tight side?

So, whether I’m removing or installing the wrist pin – the direction is the same – from "loose" to tight.

As always, thank you for the help.
