      This is a topic from the forums two revisions back…before we lost everything twice.

      I have been processing a marina clearout and came across some more of these NOS. Does anyone have the instructions for installation and a general explanation of how these work.

      It’s been awhile since I’ve seen or read about these and for those of you who arent familiar these replace the points on the universal magneto for OMC. Supposedly never have to deal with dirty points or servicing this part of yhe ignition ever again.

        Doing a search here for Atom Modules brings up 22 pages from the past.

        And here’s the installation instructions for the Atoms and Sierra branded Atoms with a chart showing which color Atoms are needed for application.

        The points and condenser can either be removed completely or the points set wide enough so they can’t make contact.
